Looking for feedback

Another fantastic blog update from... well, yours truly. As I don't really have guest authors, that's kind of a given. In any case, this post brings cat /proc/life (that's the name of this blog, in case you weren't sure) into the realm of user feedback... or so I hope.

What I need from you, dear reader, is suggestions as to what you'd like to see here on Slaxer.com. I'm looking for ideas about content, useful modifications to the news or blogging scripts, layout changes, browser compatibility tweaks, different color schemes, user-generated content... You get the picture. I have a lot of what I consider to be rather neat ideas, but building a website for my own vanity isn't one of those things I do. I want to know what YOU think.

Just to provide some guidelines, I'd like to clarify a few things for the crowd out there. I am a computer science student, and have been programming for roughly 10 years in one form or another. I'm familiar with Java, C, Bash scripting, PHP, XHTML, and CSS. I'm not averse to learning other languages in the pursuit of knowledge, although I consider what I do know to be a pretty comprehensive toolkit for a student. Slaxer.com runs on Apache, Mysql, and PHP. I've coded everything else myself, and love a good programming challenge. I'm also a fairly talented writer, and thoroughly enjoy sharing what I know with others. Keep these things in mind as you make suggestions

Well, it's a short post for now. I'm looking forward to seeing what my readers have to say!

Comment: Well, I can see that this resulted in exactly zero feedback, so I'll give some of my own. Mostly, I'm just verifying that I didn't inadvertedly break the script to stop spam.
